At church today someone spoke about voice of the myrters. God has really impressed a desire to raise awareness about them in her. Over the years she has encouraged me to become involved. I want to encourage you to become involved in helping persecuted Christians around the world. I am not talking about money. All I am asking for is prayers and a little time. You see there is a young woman who is facing the death penalty because she is a converted Christian and married an American Christian. Would you be willing to do just a little to help save her life.

Over the week I checked to see if Fabrice had been sponsored yet and actually found three more children with reddish hair from Togo.


So first I will start with Herve. I sponsor a from Burkina Faso child with that name.

The third child is a girl, Marguerite. Her red hair seems to be fading. She must be receiving a nutritional diet thanks to Compassion.

Marguerite lives with her grandmother. She is responsible for helping in the kitchen and running errands. Her grandmother is sometimes employed as a farmer. There are 5 children in the family.

As part of Compassion's ministry, Marguerite participates in church activities and Bible class. She is also in primary school where her performance is average. Singing, running and playing group games are her favorite activities.

Your love and support will help Marguerite to receive the assistance she needs to develop her potential. Please pray for her.

Even though the purpose of this blog is starting to change I could not pass up posting this young man from togo. As soon as I saw his hair I new I need to post about him. It is not that his hair is cool or unique because when you a red haired child on Compassion it usually means malnutrition. Severe malnutrition I think. Although I guess it is possible that he was born with red hair, it is more like from malnutrition and will fade away after several months in the program. So here is Fabrice and his profile.

Fabrice lives with his father and his mother. At home, duties include gathering firewood, washing clothes and making beds. His father is sometimes employed as a farmer and his mother is sometimes employed as a farmer. There are 6 children in the family.

Soccer, playing with cars and singing are Fabrice's favorite activities. In primary school his performance is average and he also regularly attends church activities and Bible class.
